Main purpose
A specialized instrument for measuring the fuzz index of various textile yarns or special yarns (such as polytetrafluoroethylene fibers, high-temperature resistant fibers, aramid fibers, graphite fibers, glass fibers, optical fibers, network cables, etc.).
This instrument is suitable for textile factories, scientific research, teaching, foreign trade, commercial inspection and other units to test the surface stem hairiness length, hairiness index and distribution of various natural and chemical fiber pure and blended yarns, in order to guide production, improve processes, control quality, develop products, and provide identification methods for yarn users.
Yarn fuzz refers to the fiber ends or fiber loops that protrude from the surface of the yarn.
The length, quantity, and distribution of yarn fuzz are closely related to the internal quality, appearance quality, hand feel, and use of fabrics. They are also the main factors affecting quality and productivity in machine weaving, especially in non-woven weaving and knitting production. Therefore, the yarn fuzz index is an important indicator for evaluating yarn quality and an important basis for reflecting the quality of textile technology and yarn processing components.

1. Feather length detected: simultaneously measure the feather index of feather lengths of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8mm.
2. Feather length setting accuracy: less than 0.1mm.
3. Feather resolution: less than 0.5mm.
4. Test speed: 15m/min ± 5%, 30m/min ± 5%, 60m/min ± 5%.
5. Yarn testing segment length: freely set between 1-1000m. (Note: Offline operation can be set arbitrarily within 1-100m)
6. Continuous testing times: freely set from 1 to 10000 times. (Note: Offline operation can be set freely from 1 to 100 times)
7. Pre tension range: 5-15cN.
8. Data display method: CRT screen display and printing records.
9. Statistical values: Feather mean, Feather index, Uneven rate, Range.
10. Working parameter adjustment method: automatic adjustment/manual adjustment.
