Main purpose

Used for testing the heat-resistant penetration performance of protective clothing, gloves, and other safety protection products against molten metal splashes (large amounts of molten metal splashes) in the metal smelting industry and quality inspection agencies; Pour a certain quality of molten metal onto a sample placed at a certain angle, and evaluate the damage of the sample by recording the changes in the PVC film attached to the back of the sample after pouring. Based on the test results, calculate the quality of metal casting, evaluate the protection level of the sample, and determine the protective ability of the sample against molten metal by examining the skin simulation material after testing.

① Crucible: Made of high-purity graphite material, with a height of 97mm, a top diameter of 80mm, a bottom diameter of 56mm, and a full capacity of 190ml.

② PVC film: single-sided embossed, with a weight of (300 ± 30) g/m².

③ Heating furnace: Electromagnetic induction, heating temperature ≥ 1700 ℃.

④ Temperature sensor: Range 700 ℃~1700 ℃, accuracy ± 10 ℃.

⑤ Balance: Range 0-3000g, accuracy ± 1g.

9. Pouring speed: (36 ± 2.5) °/s and (18 ± 1.5) °/s.
